4 Things To Do For Spring Break Around Owl’s Nest Resort

[vc_row row_padding_bottom=”padding_bottom_none”][vc_column width=”5/6″ offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-1 vc_col-md-offset-1 vc_col-sm-offset-2″][vc_column_text]Looking for some different and exciting activities to do for the upcoming Spring Break week? Here are 4 things to do nearby when you’re staying at Owl’s Nest Resort, or simply visiting the area!

1. Take a Hike Nearby the Top Resort

There are a plethora of trails nearby, but here are a few fit for families; Artists’ Bluff and Quincy Bog Natural Area, and if you’re looking for something challenging try Welch-Dickey, or Smarts Brook Trail. All within 25 minutes of the resort. For more hiking options, visit the top 7 places to hike in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.

2. Spend a day on the town

We’ve got two very lively downtowns nearby, Plymouth & Littleton, and both uniquely different! Make sure to check out one or even both downtowns for some great local finds, quaint shops, and a great cup of joe. Stores are open, but please remember there is a New Hampshire mask mandate. Store hours may also differ right now due to COVID-19, so make sure to do a quick google search before you go!

3. Visit a Winery or Brewery

New Hampshire local wineries and breweries are open for tours and dining, but make sure to check their websites for any COVID-19 regulations and adjusted hours. We recommend checking out The Dam Brewhouse, Seven Birches Winery, One Love, and Schilling Beer co.

Here’s a list of 5 top local breweries recommended by Owl’s Nest Resort for you to check out and try.

4. Rent bikes for the day

What better way to explore New Hampshire than with bikes?! We’ve got tons of trails through the White Mountains, a perfect social distancing activity and a day spent with the family. We recommend the local bike shop, Rhino Bike Works. Ask them for some awesome biking trails, they know best!

Things To Do At Owl’s Nest Resort

And of course, we’ve got activities on-site! You can play Platform Tennis, walk the grounds and check out our ongoing developments, shop at the Sports Nest (we’ve got a sale going on until April 20), or practice your golf swing when the driving range opens on April 19.

If you’re looking for good food, we’ve got that too! Panorama Six82 is open Wednesday-Sunday. Happy Hour occurs every single day from 3-7 pm, all you can eat pasta night is every Wednesday, Ladies’ Night is every Thursday, and brunch happens on Sundays! You can dine in at the restaurant, or you can order takeout!
